Will salt make you fat? Is salt dangerous? Should I eat only low sodium foods?
Answer:
Salt does not bind fat in the body, but too much salt can cause a
temporary increase in weight as it binds water. Prolonged excess of salt can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases and stomach cancer.
